Almost at the End of 2012

Oh my!! I can't believe that I forgot to post this ad this morning....Being in education has really taken a toll on me this weekend! I would first like to send prayers and thoughts to all the friends and family in Newtown, CT. All weekend long, I consistently kept thinking, "What would I do? How would I protect my children?" I have grown so close and fond of each of my students that I would go to the end of the earth to protect them! I am so thankful that He has allowed me to choose a profession that is so fitting. Day in and out, it is the toughest profession out there (and beleive me, lesson plans are kicking my butt!)...I would never change anything I have done in my 13 years in being a teacher and all the lives that I have touched and who have touched mine.

Well...without further adieu...Kellybell and her team has a fabulous way to end out 2012...
 See y'all back on Thursday!

December Challenge from Kellybell Designs

Hard to believe that this is the last blog challenge of the year!! Thanks for participating month after month. December's theme is all about celebrating parties, holidays and events throughout the Disney Parks. Here's all the rules and instructions to play:
  • Scrap a page that showcases a holiday or special event held at Disney. There's so many special events like Star Wars Weekends, Food and Wine Festival, or Flower and Garden Festival. You can scrap holiday decorations from theme parks or resorts, characters in holiday costumes, even holiday parades from MNSSHP or MVMCP or any other holiday. Don't forget your own family birthdays and anniversaries. There's so many possibilities.
  • Since this is the last challenge of the year, there are no rules!! You can use as many photos as you want and include as many elements and papers that you choose.
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer). You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST December 31st
Two winners will be selected and announced the first week of January. One winner will be chosen at random so all participants have a chance to win. The second winner will be selected as the most outstanding layout. Both winners will receive a gift certificate to Kellybell Designs store.

You might want to look at some of these kits below or ideas to use for scrapping your challenge layout.

Tis the Season...from Kellybell Designs

As soon as one holiday finishes, it's time to welcome in the next holiday. It's the last day of November and it's full steam ahead with all the Christmas and holiday planning. It's time to trade in your visions of pumpkin pie for visions of sugar plums. Kelly has a wonderful new collection for you today that's all about scrapping your Christmas planning, decorating and family celebrations. There's no such thing as too many presents or too many Christmas scrapbooking kits. Let me introduce you to...

This collection has a gorgeous cool toned color palette including some beautiful pink papers and elements. The kit has 15 papers and more than 50 elements. There's a full candy red alpha along with a candy cane, flowers, frame, ornaments, snowflakes, buttons, candies, Christmas trees, flairs, journal tags, ribbons, word tags, snow scatter and more.

Take a look at this word art pack of 5 titles. So playful!

Kelly also has an alpha pack with 4 different colors in pink, green, yellow and blue. You can be very crafty and create your own beautiful titles by mixing and matching these letters.

If you love adding solid papers to your layouts and stacking them up, here's a cardstock pack with 8 solid colors.

Of course you can't live without the magnificent page starters and paper stacks. I've come to rely on these to give my pages a clustering boost and a quick start.

The Tis The Season collection is on sale this weekend only for 25% off. Make sure you fill up your shopping cart with all the extras too. You'll find everything at www.KellybellDesigns.com.

Kelly's kits are so versatile. Tis The Season can be used for scrapping your photos with Santa, decorating the tree, making holiday cookies and of course for all your adventures at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Here's cute lil double pager that I scrapped from the Mickey's Once Upon a ChristmasTime Parade...

Tis the season for handing out some holiday goodies too. Have you been naughty or nice this year? Just wondering! Kelly's Creative Team has 3 freebies for you to collect today.
